Customer Service Representative

Location: Santa Barbara, California

The Customer Service Representative will build brand awareness, trust and loyalty by providing an exceptional customer experience. This position will support all aspects of customer service via written and verbal commutation with both our direct and wholesale customers.

 This is an in person role located in Santa Barbara, California. The starting salary is $50,000-60,000 per year with generous additional benefits to supplement base salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service:
  • Troubleshoot and provide accurate information to customer questions or concerns related to orders, garments, shipments, returns, exchanges, web experience, and company service & environmental initiatives
  • Ensure customer interactions and order management are tracking to departmental KPIs
  • Work with a team to process returns and exchanges to ensure a smooth transaction for the customer
  • Participate in team meetings and report any customer service related issues
  • Monitor web site reviews and respond appropriately to any customer service issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries via ERP dashboard
  • Field and follow up on missed customer phone calls and orders * Participate in all aspects of order management:
  • Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time shipping; notifying customers when there are delays
  • Run oversold and allocation reporting to ensure orders are ready to ship
  • Work with customers and sales reps to make order edits, enter new orders and audit orders for accuracy * Handle customer inquiries through multi-channel communication (telephone, email, social etc.) to ensure a ‘wow’ customer experience
  • Product education: communicates features, benefits, fabric properties, usage, and care instructions using various channels of communication
  • Utilize all systems accurately and efficiently
  • Continually advance product knowledge
  • Provide customer insights, feedback regarding websites and processes to the management team
  • Sample management and organization each season.
  • Work with cross functional teams to solve customer issues and to improve the overall processes
  • Contribute to the evolution and documentation of department processes
  • Work as a team to ensure department and individual goals are met on a daily basis
  • Assist with additional departmental tasks/projects as assigned to help support the service teams’ initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-starting, problem-solver with strong follow through skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and grasp technological concepts
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while still accountable to individual goals
  • Prior customer service experience helpful, but not required
  • Experience using Netsuite ERP a plus

Tech Design/Product Developer

Location: Santa Barbara, California

The Product Developer manages the day-to-day deliverables related to development from design hand-off through
production.  This position will work
directly with internal functions: Product, Design, and external vendors to
execute to the corporate pipeline calendar. 
Successful candidate will execute on a process that ensures accuracy and
efficiency. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design team to execute styles from initial concept to production.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to source and develop garment trims.
• Manage fit sessions with fit models. Work with Director to maintain Toad&Co fit blocks, grade rules, and fit consistency across all products. Revise factory patterns as needed to execute fit needs.
• Maintain and communicate accurate proto specification packages, including illustrations and technical sketches, fabric and trims, construction details, patterns, bill of materials, fit comments and measurement charts.
• Track all fit samples associated with the product to ensure their movement through the product development process in coordination with the development calendar.
• Work with design and production teams to achieve desired costing and hit stated price point and margin goals while achieving design goals.
• Communicate effectively with factories as their primary contact on the development and confirmation of all styles.
• Request, track and review wash panels.
• Provide information to Customer Service to address customers’ product questions.
• Organize seasonal bulk try on sessions.
• Review QC issues with Director, Production and factories to evaluate and clarify issues and suggest improvements.
• Travel to factories as needed to review seasonal development progress.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of apparel product process from initial tech pack to top of production approval for knits & wovens.
• Patternmaking experience preferred
• Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.
• 3-5 years of experience in a broad range of sportswear and knit and woven garments preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong follow through. Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to obtain information from various systems.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with a diverse audience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines
• Ability and desire to travel
• This role is required to be in office five days per week and located in Santa Barbara area.

Production Manager

Location: Santa Barbara, California

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day deliverables related to development
allocation, factory capacity planning, factory production timelines, order
placement, inbound shipments to US DCs and front-to-back quality control.  This position will work directly with
internal functions: Product, Design, Planning & Sales and external vendors
to execute to the corporate pipeline calendar. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with VP of Supply Chain to create the sourcing strategy to accommodate current business needs as well as long term supply chain growth.
• Manage relationships with factories (and agents where applicable).
• Work with internal cross-functional peers to execute to a seasonal calendar for sample and bulk production.
• Work closely with Design, Materials & Product on initial style & material allocation and development trouble shooting.
• Drive the purchasing process contemplating materials commitments, materials minimums, factory minimums, production capacity, and lead-times.
• Manage seasonal cost negotiations.
• Write and execute on purchase orders (samples and bulk production).
• Manage inbound shipments by finding best competitive rates & delivery timing.
• Work with Materials lead to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of raw materials to meet the production schedule.
• Manage materials liability inventory.
• Measure the performance of all factories and put appropriate strategies in place when vendors are not meeting performance goals.
• Manage bulk quality control process with assistance from Tech Design, address any quality issues with the factory, manage charge backs if necessary and ensure measures are taken to correct the issue.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of garment and textile manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of apparel product process from concept through to order delivery from the factory for knits & wovens.
• Working knowledge and understanding of forecasting, buy planning, and capacity planning.
• 5-7 years of experience in a broad range of sportswear and technical knit and woven garments preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to obtain information from various systems.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with a diverse audience.
• Detail oriented with strong follow through. Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

Retail Sales Floor Supervisor

Location: Maine

The Retail Sales Floor Supervisor is responsible for opening and closing the store, leading the team when other store leadership isn’t present, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional customer service. This role is based in Maine; positions are available at both the Portland and Freeport locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate sales staff when other store leadership is absent
  • Accountable to meeting/exceeding daily sales goals
  • Maintain positive and open communication with others on the Store Leadership Team
  • Be a role model for friendly and brand-oriented sales
  • Prioritize and delegate daily tasks, including opening and end of day responsibilities
  • Assist in communicating company and store policies and guidelines
  • Store opening/closing
  • Securing the store
  • Following loss prevention guidelines and train staff

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail sales and customer service
